Our Technology

Our manufacturing process is based on reusing the intact structures of high-quality tires. After a meticulous inspection, we replace mainly the tire tread, which is fused to the structure of the reclaimed tire using a high-pressure vulcanization process. This technological process is already an established way of recycling airliner tires. It requires electricity, which — here in Quebec — is one of the most ecological energy sources.

A controlled 8-step process

Initial inspection
Automatic tread buffing
Bead brushing
Cementing
Application of the new rubber
High-pressure vulcanization in heated moulds
Trimming
Final inspection
